Sunday 15th December - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny but chilly.

We had a sunny day here in Felixstowe but with a chilly wind from the nw, we had Maeva today but with my heel playing up ( I am having an injection in my heel tomorrow so fingers crossed that sorts it! ) I decided to stay at home and did my exercises while Mag walked to pick her up! I did manage to head out in the van and drove down to Felixstowe Ferry to take a few weather pics returning home to have a lovely time with Maeva:) Then after lunch we headed down to Felixstowe prom for a lovely walk as the sun was slowly setting. Maeva loved stomping along, then heading down onto the beach to throw some pebbles into the sea! We end up walking past the Fludyers Hotel to sit and watch the sunset but it was a little disappointing, then we had to slowly walk home covering 3 miles which did my heel the world of good! After a grumpy spell in the buggy Maeva did drop off but she is in fine form now playing with Granny on the settee while talking to our son Robert on the phone, top day!

PS - once again as chuffed to get a pic on BBC's Look East today, have had a good week for weather pics:)
